Florida House bill aiming to address the 'decline of fatherhood' has been signed by Gov Desantis

Governor Desantis of Florida has signed a bill that will provide around $70 million for fatherhood and mentorship agencies in Florida.

The bill will provide funding to programs like All-Pro Dad, an organization run by former NFL Head Coach and broadcaster Tony Dungy. The program helps provide information on better parenting and provides resources, including classes to help transition from prison back to the home life and mentors for boys in k-12.

Dungy has faced significant blowback for his support of the bill and has seen many hateful tweets and other forms of messages seemingly disappointed he had supported a statement by republican Ron Desantis, who has received criticism in recent months for his parental rights bill which would ban teachers from having discussions about sexuality with young students.

DOES DUNGY DESERVE THE HATE?
