Adam Fox, Barry Croft Jr., Daniel Harris, and Brandon Caserta recently pleaded their case against being found guilty in the plot to kidnap Michigan governor Gretchen Witmer.
The court finished proceedings on Friday and had elected a jury leader that day. they face charges of conspiring to kidnap the Michigan governor, which sprang up from information leaks from crucial informants in the sting operation.
the trial began with 6 defendants including the four named above as well as Ty Garbin and Kaleb Franks. Garbin and Franks had pled guilty and testified against Fox and croft, the supposed leaders of the plot. According to their attorneys, it was actually crucial informant Dan Chappel who had been the main leader of the group. Attorney Christopher Gibbons said in the trial "Dan Chappel makes everything happen,"
Another quick note: Barry Croft is from Bear, Delaware, and not from Michigan like the other men that stand on trial.
