This morning Bill de Blasio, who is no longer mayor as of midnight January 1st, 2022, has declared that all private business employers must get their employees vaccinated.
de Blasio cited his fears of the omicron variant as the reason for this authoritative step towards getting everyone vaccinated. As soon as he was the first to say that we should be mandating vaccines was when we all knew he was going to force the jab into every single person he can.
Along with the requirement for private businesses, he announced that children aged 5-11 will now be required to have a vaccine passport. de Blasio is gearing towards running for governor of New York in 2022, with Eric Admas set to take his place as mayor.
Adams has not made a decision on the mandate and his office had this to say when asked “The Mayor-elect will evaluate this mandate and other COVID strategies when he is in office and make determinations based on science, efficacy, and the advice of health professionals,”
