Regeneron has been shown to be 81.6% effective at stopping a sever covid reaction post-exposure

The FDA has authorized Regen-Cov monoclonal antibody therapy for post exposure covid-19 prevention. Any individual aged 12 and older weighing at least 40kg who are at high risk of progressing covid symptoms.

It has not been authorized for pre-exposure to covid-19 yet has been shown to be 81% effective in trial experiments. The primary data comes from a phase 3 trial, which was a randomized double blind, placebo controlled experiment.

Florida Governor Ron Desantis, and possible 2024 presidential candidate has been the strongest advocate for monoclonal antibody therapy. He has fought through biden cutting his budget and funded it himself to make sure individuals had access to this treatment.
